Job Location: Taiwan
Wang Bang Construction Co., Ltd. is seeking organized and detail-oriented Office Engineers to support construction project operations in Taipei and New Taipei City, Taiwan. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating engineering documentation, preparing project reports, assisting with planning and scheduling, and providing technical and administrative support to project managers and site teams. This role is ideal for candidates with engineering knowledge who can effectively coordinate between office and site operations.
OFFICE ENGINEER
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, College Degree, or Vocational qualification in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Or other related engineering disciplines.
- Fresh graduates and experienced candidates are welcome to apply (requirements may vary depending on the assigned position).
- Proficient in English and Chinese; knowledge of Taiwanese is an advantage.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and administrative skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of engineering, CAD, or project management software is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Willing to work in Taipei and New Taipei City, Taiwan.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, organize, and maintain engineering documents, project records, and technical reports.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents to support project implementation.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and progress monitoring.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors regarding project documentation and technical matters.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports and other required documentation.
- Monitor document revisions and ensure all project records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Assist in material submittals, requests for information (RFIs), shop drawings, and technical correspondence.
- Support project procurement, material tracking, and coordination with suppliers when required.
- Maintain project filing systems and ensure compliance with company procedures and documentation standards.
- Participate in project meetings and record meeting minutes and action items.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, engineering procedures, and health and safety requirements.
- Perform other engineering coordination and administrative duties assigned by management.
