Pacific International Hospital is seeking an experienced Nephrologist to provide specialized care for patients with kidney-related conditions in Papua New Guinea. The successful candidate will diagnose and manage renal diseases, provide expert medical treatment, and deliver high-quality patient care while applying the latest advancements in nephrology practices.
NEPHROLOGIST
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of working experience as a Nephrologist or in a related specialty.
- Must hold a Professional License (Passed Board/Professional License Examination).
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology.
- Must possess a Medical Degree with completion of residency and fellowship training in Nephrology.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and managing various nephrology conditions.
- Strong knowledge of current nephrology practices, treatments, and research developments.
- Ability to handle diverse and complex renal cases.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of kidney-related conditions and disorders.
- Provide specialized consultations and develop appropriate treatment plans for nephrology patients.
- Manage patients with chronic kidney disease, renal failure, and other complex renal conditions.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical needs.
- Perform and interpret nephrology-related procedures and diagnostic assessments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest nephrology practices, treatments, and medical research.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Provide medical care while ensuring patient safety and adherence to healthcare standards.
