NAIL CARE SPECIALIST

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Nail Care Specialist, Nail Technician, or Manicurist/Pedicurist.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.
• Proficient in manicure, pedicure, nail enhancement, nail repair, and nail art techniques.
• Experience in applying and removing gel, acrylic, shellac, and dip powder nails.
• Strong attention to detail with artistic creativity and precision.
• Knowledge of proper sanitation, sterilization, and infection control procedures.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced salon environment.
• Professional appearance with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays when required.

Responsibilities:

• Clean, file, shape, trim, and buff clients’ fingernails and toenails.
• Perform professional manicure and pedicure services according to salon standards.
• Apply, maintain, refill, repair, and safely remove gel, acrylic, shellac, and dip powder nail enhancements.
• Create custom nail art, decorative designs, and polish applications based on client preferences.
• Repair damaged or broken natural and artificial nails.
• Recommend suitable nail care products and services to clients.
• Maintain proper sanitation and sterilization of tools, equipment, and workstations before and after each client.
• Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
• Keep accurate records of client services and preferences when required.
• Maintain sufficient supplies of nail care products and report inventory shortages.
• Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and relaxing salon experience.
• Stay updated on the latest nail care techniques, products, and fashion trends.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area at all times.
• Perform other salon-related duties assigned by the Salon Manager.
