Job Talent is seeking an experienced Mould Technician for a leading client in Belgium’s plastic manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in injection moulding processes, machine operation, and mould maintenance, with experience handling various automotive or industrial applications.

Mould Technician

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the plastic manufacturing industry
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive bodywork repair handling cars of various brands and models (advantageous)
  • Technical knowledge of injection moulding machines and processes
  • Experience with IML technology (in mould labeling)
  • General knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, and electronics
  • Sufficient English skills to communicate effectively with team members and external partners
  • Able to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Technical degree (preferably Bachelor’s or Master’s) in a relevant field
  • Experience working as a Mould Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain injection moulding machines efficiently
  • Perform mould and machine checks to ensure proper functioning
  • Work with IML (In Mould Labeling) technology for production processes
  • Troubleshoot and repair technical issues with moulds and machines
  • Apply general knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, and electronics to resolve issues
  • Follow company procedures, including food safety and operational standards
  • Collaborate with team members and external partners to optimize production
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and machine performance
