Mechanical Technician (Rotating)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in mechanical maintenance, particularly in rotating equipment.
• Must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Strong knowledge in troubleshooting and maintenance of rotating machinery.
• Familiarity with CMMS and industrial maintenance practices is an advantage.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform overhaul, preventive, corrective, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on mechanical rotating equipment and related systems.
• Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic activities for both process and non-process equipment.
• Supervise, guide, and monitor work performed by external vendors.
• Prepare and submit technical reports, logs, checklists, and maintenance documentation as part of daily operations.
• Source and manage spare parts, materials, and consumables from internal stores or external suppliers.
• Utilize, maintain, and safeguard company-issued tools and equipment.
• Ensure proper management of tools, PPE, and spare parts, including forecasting annual requirements.
• Respond to emergency situations during and after working hours as part of business continuity.
• Operate and update Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) in accordance with company procedures.
• Support team members across disciplines when required and participate in company-provided training programs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor in compliance with labor regulations.
