Aureol Global Connections is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to support the operation and maintenance of mechanical systems in the water and wastewater industry. The role involves servicing pumps, motors, and drive systems, ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.

MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE FITTER

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS1T in Mechanical Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry.
• Strong experience with pumps, motors, and drive systems.
• Chemical handling experience is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills.
• Full valid driving license.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on pumps, motors, and mechanical drive systems.
• Inspect mechanical equipment for wear, damage, or malfunction and implement corrective measures.
• Assist with installation, alignment, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
• Handle chemicals safely, adhering to industry safety and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site-specific procedures.
