Mechanical Engineer

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of working experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Strong knowledge of pipe types and fittings, including materials used in water, sewage, and Oil & Gas applications, as well as valves, pumps, water meters, and other mechanical components.
• Experience in tender preparation, BOQ preparation, and technical documentation.
• Advanced Excel skills (mandatory) including formulas, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables; good proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read and understand MEP and industrial piping drawings.
• Basic AutoCAD knowledge is required.
• Strong communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Pleasant, presentable, and client-friendly personality with a professional attitude.
• Must maintain a neat and professional appearance suitable for client meetings and site visits.
• Willing to travel across GCC countries when required.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare quotations, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), tender submissions, cost breakdowns, and techno-commercial offers.
• Conduct supplier price comparisons and assist in procurement decisions.
• Review and interpret MEP and industrial piping drawings.
• Coordinate with suppliers, consultants, and contractors regarding materials, specifications, and project requirements.
• Provide technical and sales support related to material selection and project inquiries.
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and on-site setup of supplied equipment when required.
• Attend factory product training and assist in providing basic customer training.
• Prepare professional reports, technical documentation, and client correspondence.
• Ensure tasks are completed within deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
