Aureol Global Connections is seeking a qualified Maintenance / Facilities Fitter to perform maintenance, repairs, rebuilding, and servicing of machinery and infrastructure within a manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will help ensure equipment remains operational, reliable, and efficient while minimizing production downtime.
MAINTENANCE / FACILITIES FITTER
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in maintenance, mechanical fitting, facilities maintenance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Maximo Asset Management or an equivalent maintenance management system is an advantage.
- Maximo experience is not mandatory, as full training will be provided on site.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Ability to inspect, maintain, repair, and rebuild manufacturing machinery.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be 25–45 years old.
- Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing facility.
- Strong attention to safety, equipment reliability, and maintenance quality.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, repairs, rebuilding, and servicing of machinery and infrastructure.
- Maintain and repair equipment and machinery throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on machines and equipment.
- Diagnose equipment problems and repair or replace defective components.
- Respond promptly to maintenance and repair requests to minimize production downtime and operational losses.
- Carry out repair and maintenance work directly at the manufacturing facility.
- Maintain accurate maintenance reports, service records, and repair documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing machinery and increase equipment efficiency.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Monitor tool and equipment requirements and place orders for replacements or additional items when necessary.
- Follow maintenance procedures, workplace safety requirements, and manufacturer recommendations.
- Coordinate with production and other facility personnel to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance work area.
