Australian Skilled Migration is seeking experienced Maintenance Engineers / Technicians to support industrial and manufacturing operations in Australia. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy machinery, production equipment, and plant systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER/TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in industrial, manufacturing, process plant, or related industries involving heavy machinery and production equipment.
• Proven experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, plant maintenance, and equipment reliability.
• Skilled in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment faults.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance documents.
• Experience in general fabrication, including welding, cutting, fitting, and assembly.
• Experience supporting production operations and supervising maintenance or production shifts when required.
• Good English communication skills to meet employer and Australian immigration requirements.
• College graduate, with at least one (1) year of college education, or a graduate of a vocational course relevant to the position.
• Must possess complete and verifiable employment documents and academic credentials (Diploma and Transcript of Records).
• Applicants must provide a portfolio of previous work, including photos and/or videos demonstrating completed maintenance work.
• Must have a Microsoft Teams account for the recruitment process.
• Preferably under 45 years old.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on heavy machinery, production equipment, and plant facilities.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system faults to minimize equipment downtime.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation.
• Carry out general fabrication work, including welding, cutting, fitting, and assembly, as required.
• Support production operations by ensuring equipment availability and responding promptly to maintenance requirements.
• Supervise maintenance activities or production shifts when assigned.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment performance, repairs, and recommendations.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to improve plant reliability and operational efficiency.
