iPack (International Paper Products Mfg. Co.) is hiring a Machine Operator (Corrugate and Flute Lamination Section) responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining corrugating and flute laminating machines. The role ensures efficient production of high-quality laminated sheets by monitoring machine performance, adjusting settings, and maintaining strict quality control standards.
MACHINE OPERATOR (Corrugate and Flute Lamination Section)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in operating corrugating and/or laminating machines.
- Experience in corrugate machine operation using electrical heaters is required.
- Knowledge in flute lamination processes and machine adjustments.
- Ability to monitor product quality and perform basic troubleshooting.
- Physically fit and able to work in a production environment.
- No minimum educational attainment required.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Operate corrugating machines using electrical heaters and ensure proper machine functionality.
- Set up and operate flute laminating machines, including adjustment of guide assemblies, gluing systems, and temperature controls.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure smooth and continuous production.
- Inspect finished laminated sheets for quality, including bonding strength, alignment, and thickness.
- Identify defects and perform necessary adjustments or corrective actions.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow production schedules and meet output targets.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams for troubleshooting and repairs.
