Gemlife Administration Pty Ltd is offering an overseas employment opportunity for qualified applicants seeking a Landscaper position in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, installing, and maintaining attractive outdoor environments through soft landscaping, hard landscaping, garden preparation, planting, paving, and general landscape maintenance.

LANDSCAPER

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least graduates of a four-year undergraduate course.
• High school graduates must be willing to take the IELTS or PTE English proficiency test.
• Must have strong experience in both soft landscaping and hard landscaping.
• Must be capable of preparing, leveling, and shaping garden beds, lawns, and outdoor areas.
• Must have practical experience planting trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and other landscape materials.
• Must be skilled in installing and maintaining paving, edging, retaining walls, garden beds, and outdoor features.
• Must have knowledge of irrigation systems, drainage, soil preparation, mulching, and fertilizing.
• Must be familiar with plant care, pruning, trimming, pest control, and general garden maintenance.
• Must be able to operate landscaping tools and equipment safely.
• Must be able to read and follow landscape plans, drawings, and work instructions.
• Must have a strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Must be physically capable of performing outdoor landscaping work in different weather conditions.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a four-wheeled vehicle.
• Must be willing and qualified to work in Australia, subject to applicable employment and visa requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform soft landscaping and hard landscaping works to develop and maintain outdoor areas.
• Prepare, level, and shape garden beds, lawns, soil surfaces, and other landscape areas.
• Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and other landscape materials according to project requirements.
• Install and maintain lawns, garden beds, edging, paving, retaining walls, and other outdoor features.
• Operate landscaping tools, machinery, and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Install, inspect, and maintain irrigation systems and drainage facilities.
• Prepare soil, apply mulch and fertilizers, and improve growing conditions for plants.
• Carry out pruning, trimming, pest control, watering, and general garden maintenance.
• Read and follow landscape plans, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Inspect landscaped areas and perform maintenance to keep gardens and outdoor spaces healthy and presentable.
• Maintain landscaping tools and equipment and ensure work areas remain clean and organized.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures when handling tools, machinery, fertilizers, and other landscaping materials.
• Perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
