Summit Homes Group is offering an overseas employment opportunity for an experienced Landscape Gardener in Australia. The successful candidate should have extensive experience in soft and hard landscaping, garden installation, lawn maintenance, irrigation, drainage, and general landscape care. Applicants must be able to operate landscaping tools safely, follow landscape plans, and maintain high standards of workplace health and safety.

LANDSCAPE GARDENER

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Strong experience in both soft landscaping and hard landscaping works.
• Ability to prepare, level, and shape garden beds, lawns, and outdoor areas.
• Experience planting trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and other landscape materials.
• Skills in installing and maintaining lawns, paving, edging, retaining walls, and other outdoor features.
• Experience with irrigation systems, drainage, soil preparation, mulching, and fertilising.
• Knowledge of plant care, pest control, pruning, trimming, and general garden maintenance.
• Ability to read and follow landscape plans, drawings, and work instructions.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to operate landscaping tools and equipment safely.
• Willingness to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
• Must possess a valid driver’s licence and be able to drive a four-wheeled vehicle.
• Candidates must be at least graduates of a four-year undergraduate course.
• High school graduates must be willing to take the IELTS or PTE examination.

Responsibilities:

• Perform soft and hard landscaping works for gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas.
• Prepare, level, and shape garden beds, lawns, and other landscape areas.
• Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and other landscaping materials.
• Install and maintain lawns, garden beds, edging, paving, retaining walls, and outdoor features.
• Prepare soil, apply mulch and fertilisers, and maintain suitable growing conditions for plants.
• Install, inspect, and maintain irrigation systems and drainage.
• Perform pruning, trimming, pest control, and general garden maintenance.
• Read and follow landscape plans, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Operate landscaping tools, machinery, and equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised worksite.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions while completing assigned landscaping tasks.
