Kitchen Staff
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience as Kitchen Staff or in a similar food preparation role.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Female applicants are preferred for this role.
- Must possess a valid passport with at least two (2) years and six (6) months validity.
- Familiarity with food contamination prevention and HACCP food safety standards.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and proper kitchen hygiene.
- Hardworking, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes, menu standards, and kitchen procedures.
- Wash, peel, cut, dice, and prepare vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients for daily food production.
- Assist chefs with food preparation, plating, and other kitchen duties as assigned.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, labeling, and stock rotation to maintain product quality and minimize waste.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures, including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, kitchen equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas.
- Monitor ingredient quality and report any damaged or expired products to supervisors.
- Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries according to company standards.
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining efficient operations during busy service periods.
- Comply with company policies, hygiene regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
