Instrument Technician

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation, control systems, and process operations.
  • Experience with calibration tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
  • Relevant certifications or technical training are an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, calibrate, and maintain field instruments and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation, including sensors, transmitters, and control valves.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliability of equipment.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, loop diagrams, and P&IDs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and implement HES procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of calibration, maintenance, and repairs.
