INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering or any related
field. - Minimum 2 years of experienced in manufacturing or production operations with machinery
operation and maintenance skills. - Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Good attitude, able to work independently while at the same time a good team player.
- Minimum SPM or diploma or equivalent in a related field.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively
manage and motivate a team. - Ability to address challenges and develop practical solutions to improve production efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in analyzing and refining manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce
waste. - Conduct time and motion studies, data collection, and process evaluations to optimize
production flow. - Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other
continuous improvement methodologies. - Assist in the design, testing, and modification of production equipment, tools, and
workstations. - Prepare technical reports, charts, and process documentation for review by engineers and
management. - Monitor and address production issues, identifying root causes and recommending solutions.
- Work closely with engineers, technicians, and production staff to enhance productivity and
product quality. - Ensure adherence to workplace safety, industry regulations, and company standards.
- Assist in inventory control, material handling, and equipment layout optimization.
- Aid in the development and training of operators on new or improved processes.
