Universal Cold Store Company is seeking a skilled Industrial Boiler Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial boiler systems and associated equipment used in poultry production, feed mill, and processing plant operations. The successful candidate will ensure boiler systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably while complying with company safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Industrial Boiler Maintenance Technician
Qualifications:
- Male applicants only.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as an Industrial Boiler Maintenance Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Technical knowledge and practical experience in industrial boiler systems and steam generation equipment.
- Familiarity with industrial maintenance, poultry production, feed mills, hatcheries, processing plants, or manufacturing facilities.
- Knowledge of steam systems, pumps, burners, valves, piping, water treatment systems, and boiler safety devices.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, piping schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance skills.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial boilers, steam systems, and associated mechanical equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components such as burners, pumps, valves, steam traps, pressure gauges, heat exchangers, piping, and control systems.
- Monitor boiler performance, operating pressure, temperature, water levels, fuel systems, and combustion efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify leaks, corrosion, wear, or equipment malfunctions.
- Perform boiler cleaning, blowdown procedures, water treatment checks, and other routine maintenance activities.
- Respond promptly to boiler breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests to minimize production downtime.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, piping diagrams, boiler manuals, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to schedule repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, spare parts inventory, and equipment service logs.
- Ensure compliance with boiler operating procedures, workplace safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of boiler rooms, workshops, and maintenance equipment.
- Perform other boiler maintenance duties assigned by management.
