Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration Technician

Qualifications:

• Male applicants only.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as an Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration Technician.
• Technical knowledge and practical experience in industrial refrigeration systems.
• Experience working in cold storage, poultry production, feed mills, hatcheries, or food processing plants is preferred.
• Familiar with industrial maintenance procedures and refrigeration safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, refrigeration diagrams, and maintenance manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a team environment.
• Physically fit and willing to work in industrial production environments.

Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair industrial ammonia refrigeration systems and related equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, valves, piping systems, and refrigeration controls.
• Monitor refrigeration system performance, pressures, temperatures, and operating parameters to ensure efficient operation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults using appropriate testing equipment.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections to detect ammonia leaks and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Maintain refrigeration equipment used in cold storage, poultry production, hatcheries, feed mills, and processing plants.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, refrigeration schematics, manuals, and maintenance procedures.
• Prepare maintenance reports, service records, and equipment inspection documentation.
• Maintain tools, spare parts, and workshop equipment in good working condition.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Perform other refrigeration maintenance duties assigned by management.
