HVAC PUMP OPERATOR
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in HVAC systems, pump operations, or related mechanical field.
- Strong knowledge of centralized HVAC systems, chilled water systems, and piping networks.
- Experience in operating and maintaining pumps, chillers, cooling towers, and boiler systems.
- Familiarity with commissioning, balancing, and troubleshooting HVAC fluid systems.
- Ability to monitor flow rates, pressure levels, and temperature controls effectively.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and system diagnostics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, piping diagrams, and system layouts.
- Physically fit and capable of working in mechanical and industrial environments.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain pumps that circulate water, glycol, or refrigerant through centralized HVAC and piping systems.
- Start, stop, and monitor pumps, chillers, cooling towers, and boiler systems to regulate system performance.
- Perform commissioning, balancing, and troubleshooting of HVAC fluid systems.
- Monitor flow rates, pressure levels, temperatures, and equipment conditions to ensure efficient operation.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections to minimize downtime and system failures.
- Troubleshoot and repair pump, piping, and HVAC-related mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate operational logs, maintenance records, and inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and operational standards.
- Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams regarding system performance and repairs.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of tools, equipment, and work areas.
