Catrion Catering Holding Company is seeking qualified and experienced Hot Kitchen & Packing Junior Sous Chefs for a major international aviation catering project based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will assist in managing hot kitchen and packing operations, ensuring the production of high-quality meals in accordance with Saudia Catering standards, customer specifications, food safety requirements, and company procedures
HOT KITCHEN & PACKING – JUNIOR SOUS CHEF
Qualifications:
- Male applicants only.
- Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or similar supervisory role.
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Previous experience in in-flight catering, five-star hotels, or cruise lines is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hot kitchen operations, large-scale food production, and food safety practices.
- Ability to supervise kitchen teams and work effectively in a high-volume catering environment.
- Good leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible and willing to work shifts as required.
- Available for immediate processing and deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Sous Chef and kitchen management team in overseeing daily hot kitchen and packing operations.
- Support the preparation and production of meals according to Saudia Catering standards and customer requirements.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, portion control, and presentation meet established standards.
- Supervise and guide kitchen staff during production activities to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor cooking, preparation, packing, and dispatch processes according to approved manuals and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Assist in planning and organizing production schedules for airline catering, company restaurants, and outside party catering.
- Check completed products to ensure they meet quality specifications before delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency of the hot kitchen and packing areas.
- Provide support in achieving daily production targets and maintaining service standards.
