Job Vacancy: Heavy Truck Driver

Rosteka is seeking an experienced and responsible Heavy Truck Driver to join its team in Lithuania. This opportunity is ideal for professional truck drivers with experience operating heavy vehicles, particularly 18-wheeler trucks, and a valid CE Driver’s License. European driving experience is an advantage.
Heavy Truck Driver
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant truck driving experience.
- Proven experience operating 18-wheeler trucks or other heavy commercial vehicles.
- Must possess a valid CE Driver’s License.
- European driving experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of road safety rules, vehicle handling, and heavy truck operations.
- Responsible, safety-conscious, physically fit, and able to work according to assigned schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive heavy trucks, including 18-wheeler trucks, safely and efficiently.
- Transport goods, equipment, and materials to designated locations while following assigned routes and schedules.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is safe and roadworthy.
- Comply with traffic laws, road safety regulations, company policies, and transportation procedures.
- Secure and properly handle cargo to prevent damage or loss during transportation.
- Monitor vehicle condition and promptly report mechanical problems, damage, or maintenance requirements.
- Maintain accurate driving, delivery, inspection, and vehicle-related records.
- Plan efficient routes and manage travel schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Practice safe driving techniques and maintain awareness of road, weather, and traffic conditions.
- Keep the assigned truck clean and in good operating condition.
- Assist with loading and unloading activities when required.
- Perform other driving and transportation duties assigned by management.
