HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

Qualifications:

• Formal tertiary education and/or vocational training in automotive mechanic, electronic, engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as Maintenance Mechanic or in related field. Must know how to ensure ma
• Must know how to ensure machinery and mechanical equipment run efficiently and safely by performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
• Knowledgeable in managing spare parts lists and do the preparatory work for contracted diesel fitter and be hands on.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and fix malfunctions in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble major parts like engines and transmissions.
• Inspect and replace worn-out or defective components.
• Consult operating manuals, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
