Abdullah A Al Barrak & Sons Co. is seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join its maintenance team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and overhauling heavy-duty vehicles and equipment to ensure reliable and safe operation in industrial and construction environments.

HEAVY DUTY MECHANIC

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Technically qualified with the ability to perform complete engine overhauls.
• Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems used in heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for mechanical systems.
• Good communication skills and sound working knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
• Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks, construction equipment, and other heavy machinery.
• Perform complete engine overhauls, including dismantling, repairing, reassembling, and testing engine components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steering, braking, transmission, and suspension systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine servicing to minimize equipment downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair and replace worn or defective parts in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Perform functional testing after repairs to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment issues to supervisors.
• Follow company safety procedures and ensure a clean and organized work area at all times.
