Arabian Industrial Technical Services is seeking an experienced GTAW + SMAW Welder to perform high-quality welding work in industrial environments, particularly within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries. The successful candidate should be proficient in GTAW and SMAW welding processes and capable of working safely in accordance with industry standards and procedures.

This GTAW + SMAW Welder job in Saudi Arabia is suitable for experienced welders with at least 3 years of relevant experience, particularly those with a background in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.

Applicants must be skilled in both GTAW and SMAW welding and should have a valid Welder Qualification Test (WQT). Experience in pipe fabrication is an advantage for candidates applying to pipe-related positions.

GTAW + SMAW Welder

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the position being applied for.
• Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry is required.
• Must possess a valid Welder Qualification Test (WQT).
• Skilled in both GTAW and SMAW welding processes.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and procedures.
• Ability to read and understand welding drawings and technical specifications.
• For pipe fabrication-related work, relevant hands-on experience in pipe fabrication is required.
• Safety-conscious and able to follow industry standards and procedures.
• Ability to work in demanding industrial environments.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to weld quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding activities using GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) processes.
• Weld pipes, fittings, structural components, and other metal assemblies according to approved specifications.
  Read and interpret welding drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, and technical specifications.
• Prepare materials and welding surfaces before performing welding operations.
• Set up and operate welding equipment according to required welding procedures.
• Perform welding work while maintaining proper alignment, fit-up, penetration, and weld quality.
• Inspect completed welds for defects and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with pipe fitters, fabricators, inspectors, and other site personnel.
• Maintain welding tools and equipment in safe and proper working condition.
• Follow approved welding procedures, safety regulations, and site requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow workplace safety procedures.
• Perform other welding-related duties as assigned by supervisors.
