Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least graduates of a four-year undergraduate course.
• High school graduates must be willing to take the IELTS or PTE English proficiency test.
• Must have experience in glazing, glass installation, and aluminium fabrication or installation.
• Experience installing balustrades is highly regarded.
• Must be able to measure, cut, drill, fit, and adjust components accurately.
• Must be able to read and follow technical drawings and installation specifications.
• Welding experience, particularly MIG or flux-core welding, is an advantage.
• Basic carpentry or timber-working experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Must be capable of handling large and heavy glass panels safely.
• Must have good attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work with a team.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a four-wheeled vehicle.
• Must be willing and qualified to work in Australia, subject to applicable employment and visa requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Install glass panels, aluminium components, balustrades, and related metalwork.
• Measure, mark out, drill, cut, and fit materials accurately according to project specifications.
• Install prefabricated glass and metal panels and modify components when necessary.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, installation plans, and specifications.
• Perform basic fabrication, fitting, and adjustment work on construction and client sites.
• Assist with welding and metalwork activities as required.
• Handle, lift, transport, and install large or heavy glass panels using appropriate safety procedures and equipment.
• Inspect installed glass, aluminium frames, balustrades, and fittings to ensure proper alignment and secure installation.
• Carry out installation and repair work at client locations while maintaining professional communication with customers and supervisors.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures when handling glass, tools, machinery, and metal components.
• Maintain tools and equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other tradespeople to complete installation projects efficiently.
