FOOD SERVER IN HOSPITAL

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• No minimum educational attainment required.
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Good communication skills and a patient, calm, service-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Serve meals to patients according to prescribed diet plans.
• Deliver food trays to patient rooms and hospital wards.
• Assist patients with meal service as needed (e.g., opening containers, adjusting trays).
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Collect used trays, dishes, and utensils after meals.
• Maintain cleanliness of serving areas, pantries, and food carts.
• Follow hospital policies on infection control and food handling.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and nurses regarding special dietary needs.
• Provide polite, respectful, and compassionate service to all patients at all times.

• Graduate of any four (4) year course or College Level
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
