FLOWERS COORDINATOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in floral arrangement, flower shop operations, landscaping, or related fields.
• No minimum educational attainment required.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Strong creativity and artistic ability with a keen eye for color combinations, floral design, and seasonal flower availability.
• Knowledge of plant care, flower preservation, nutritional requirements, and species-specific watering needs.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail when handling delicate flowers and decorative materials.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting floral supplies, arranging displays, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments, including refrigerated floral storage areas.

Responsibilities:

• Design and create attractive floral arrangements, bouquets, centerpieces, and decorative displays.
• Coordinate floral orders and ensure timely preparation for customers, events, and special occasions.
• Monitor flower freshness and maintain proper storage, watering, and preservation techniques.
• Select appropriate flowers, plants, and decorative materials based on customer requirements and seasonal availability.
• Maintain inventory of flowers, plants, floral supplies, ribbons, containers, and accessories.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and presentation of floral workstations and display areas.
• Assist customers with flower selection and provide recommendations for floral arrangements.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding flower deliveries and stock replenishment.
• Maintain quality standards and minimize waste through proper handling and storage practices.
• Follow workplace safety procedures when handling tools, chemicals, and floral equipment.
