Fire Alarm System Operator/Technician

Qualifications:

• College-level, vocational, or high school diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Engineering (Others), or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fire alarm system operation or maintenance.
• Male applicants preferred.
• Knowledge of fire alarm system protocols, safety standards, and emergency procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system faults efficiently.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, acknowledge, investigate, and reset fire alarms according to approved procedures.
• Ensure the Fire Alarm System is always operational and online.
• Immediately report fire alarms, system faults, or abnormal conditions to Security, Facility Engineer, Supervisor, Civil Defence, or Emergency Services as per protocol.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and testing of fire alarm systems.
• Assist in emergency drills and safety training sessions.
• Maintain accurate logs of alarms, inspections, maintenance, and incidents.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to address system issues promptly.
