Grapecare LTD. is seeking skilled and experienced Finishing & Folding Machine Operators to support book production operations in the Czech Republic. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, setting up, adjusting, and maintaining bookbinding and finishing equipment while ensuring high-quality production standards and efficient machine performance.

Finishing & Folding Machine Operator (Book Production)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Candidates must be at least a High School Graduate.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating Müller Martini Primera, Müller Martini ACORO A5, Müller Martini Diamant, Kolbus Binding Machines, Heidelberg Stahl TX-82, Stahl PFH-20, MBO, K8RS, and FP800.
  • Skilled in setting up, adjusting, operating, maintaining, and monitoring machines according to production schedules.
  • Experience with perfect binding V1 (softcover), perfect binding V2 (paperback), hotmelt and PUR gluing, and perfect binding V8 (hardcover).
  • Knowledge of book production processes, quality control, and machine operation procedures.
  • Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate book production and finishing machines, including Müller Martini Primera, Müller Martini ACORO A5, Müller Martini Diamant, Kolbus Binding Machines, Heidelberg Stahl TX82, Stahl PFH-20, MBO, K8RS, and FP800.
  • Adjust and maintain machine settings to achieve optimal performance and meet production requirements.
  • Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Inspect materials and finished products for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Use measuring tools to verify accuracy and consistency of production output.
  • Perform routine machine checks, adjustments, and maintenance to ensure smooth operation.
  • Follow production schedules, safety procedures, and company quality standards.
