Working International Resourcing Limited is seeking an experienced Fibreglass Technician with expertise in marine or boat manufacturing and repair. The ideal candidate will be skilled in fibreglass composite work, including hand layup, cutting, sanding, trimming, and repair, ensuring high-quality finishes and precise construction of boat components.

FIBREGLASS TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience in fibreglass or composite manufacturing/repair.
  • Experience in marine or boat manufacturing is required.
  • Proficiency in hand layup, cutting, sanding, trimming, and repair techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • English proficiency: IELTS 5 in each band, or PTE: Listening 33, Reading 36, Writing 29, Speaking 24.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team or independently in a workshop environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture and repair fibreglass and composite boat components.
  • Work with gelcoat, resins, hardeners, and moulds to produce hulls, decks, consoles, and internal structures.
  • Ensure accurate measurements and high-quality finishes on all components.
  • Perform hand layup, trimming, sanding, and cutting of fibreglass materials.
  • Collaborate with marine production or repair teams to meet project timelines.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment in factories or marine repair workshops.
