Universal Cold Store Company is seeking a skilled Feed Mill Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipment used in feed mill operations. The successful candidate will ensure production equipment operates safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime while maintaining company quality, safety, and operational standards.

Feed Mill Maintenance Technician

Qualifications:

• Male applicants only.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Technical knowledge and practical experience in industrial maintenance and equipment repair.
• Experience in feed mills, poultry production, hatcheries, processing plants, food manufacturing, or industrial facilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical equipment, conveyors, motors, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, maintenance manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance skills.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on feed mill machinery and production equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Maintain equipment such as hammer mills, mixers, pellet mills, conveyors, bucket elevators, crushers, augers, feeders, and packaging machines.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, damage, or potential equipment failures before breakdowns occur.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and restore machinery to operational condition.
• Lubricate, adjust, align, and calibrate machinery according to maintenance schedules and manufacturer recommendations.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, maintenance procedures, and technical drawings.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair reports, spare parts inventory, and service documentation.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production personnel to minimize operational downtime.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with workplace safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance workshops, tools, and work areas.
• Perform other maintenance-related duties assigned by management.
