Keva SARL is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Executive Chef to lead kitchen operations in Cameroon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all culinary activities, ensuring high-quality food production, and developing innovative menus with a strong focus on Asian cuisines.

Executive Chef

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years experience in kitchen operations
• At least 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef
• Minimum 3 years overseas work experience (required)
• Strong knowledge and expertise in Asian cuisines (Japanese, Thai, Malay, Chinese, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Proven experience in menu creation, costing, and presentation
• Deep understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen standards
• Ability to perform in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
• Strong organizational, planning, and decision-making skills
• Creative, innovative, and detail-oriented culinary professional

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all kitchen operations and culinary staff
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation standards across all services
• Develop, design, and update menus, including costing and food presentation standards
• Ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency in all kitchen outputs
• Manage kitchen inventory, stock control, and supplier coordination
• Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
• Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen team members
• Control food costs and ensure budget compliance
• Coordinate with management to align culinary offerings with business goals
• Ensure smooth kitchen operations during high-volume service periods

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
