Keva SARL is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Executive Chef to lead kitchen operations in Cameroon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all culinary activities, ensuring high-quality food production, and developing innovative menus with a strong focus on Asian cuisines.
Executive Chef
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years experience in kitchen operations
- At least 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef
- Minimum 3 years overseas work experience (required)
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Asian cuisines (Japanese, Thai, Malay, Chinese, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Proven experience in menu creation, costing, and presentation
- Deep understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen standards
- Ability to perform in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Strong organizational, planning, and decision-making skills
- Creative, innovative, and detail-oriented culinary professional
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations and culinary staff
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation standards across all services
- Develop, design, and update menus, including costing and food presentation standards
- Ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency in all kitchen outputs
- Manage kitchen inventory, stock control, and supplier coordination
- Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen team members
- Control food costs and ensure budget compliance
- Coordinate with management to align culinary offerings with business goals
- Ensure smooth kitchen operations during high-volume service periods

Requirements:
- Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
