ELECTRONIC AND ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• At least five (5) years of relevant work experience in electronic engineering, electrical maintenance, industrial equipment, or a related technical field.
• Bachelor’s degree or certificate from a recognized technical institution in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline.
• Practical knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, industrial machinery, and plant equipment.
• Experience in preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair.
• Ability to plan and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime.
• Experience in commissioning and decommissioning new and existing machines, equipment, and industrial systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical diagrams, machinery schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Knowledge of maintenance planning, inventory management, spare parts control, and resource allocation.
• Leadership and team coordination skills, with the ability to guide maintenance personnel and organize work assignments.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of industrial safety procedures and maintenance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment within the plant.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise maintenance activities to ensure reliable operation of machinery and production systems.
• Diagnose equipment faults, identify technical problems, and carry out necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance personnel in performing inspections, servicing, troubleshooting, and equipment repairs.
• Manage the commissioning and decommissioning of new and existing machines, equipment, and industrial systems.
• Assist in machine installation, testing, system configuration, and operational verification before equipment is placed into service.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including machinery diagrams, electrical drawings, equipment manuals, maintenance records, and service reports.
• Review technical diagrams and manuals to support equipment installation, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
• Manage maintenance inventory, spare parts, tools, and technical resources to ensure availability when needed.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce unexpected breakdowns.
• Coordinate with production and other departments regarding machine maintenance, equipment shutdowns, and repair schedules.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with company procedures, technical requirements, and workplace safety standards.
• Prepare maintenance reports and recommend improvements to maintenance planning and equipment reliability.
