Universal Cold Store Company is seeking a qualified Electrician (Poultry Processing Plant) to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment used in poultry processing operations. The successful candidate will ensure the reliable operation of electrical installations and production equipment while complying with food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards.

Electrician (Poultry Processing Plant)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants only.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as an Electrician in an industrial or food processing environment.
• Technical knowledge and practical experience in industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience in poultry processing plants, poultry production, feed mills, hatcheries, food manufacturing, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, control panels, sensors, circuit protection devices, and industrial wiring.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, control panels, wiring, motors, and production equipment within the poultry processing plant.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical components to minimize equipment downtime.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults involving motors, control circuits, sensors, relays, switches, circuit breakers, and electrical distribution systems.
• Inspect electrical equipment regularly to identify potential problems and recommend corrective actions.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Test electrical systems and components using appropriate measuring and diagnostic instruments.
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and modification of electrical equipment and production machinery.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment service documentation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety requirements, electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following workplace health and safety regulations.
• Perform other electrical maintenance duties assigned by management.
