ELECTRICIAN

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
  • Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  • Must have experience working in a manufacturing company or industrial facility.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience as an Industrial Electrician, Maintenance Electrician, or similar position.
  • Proven ability to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and wiring.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety procedures, preventive maintenance, and basic electrical testing.
  • Responsible, reliable, and capable of properly maintaining facility electrical systems.
  • Physically fit and willing to work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and wiring within a manufacturing facility.
  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and facility equipment to identify potential faults and safety hazards.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical components, machinery, lighting systems, power distribution, and related facility systems.
  • Diagnose electrical problems and carry out necessary repairs or component replacements.
  • Ensure electrical installations and equipment are operating safely, efficiently, and according to required standards.
  • Maintain and properly use electrical tools, testing equipment, and maintenance materials.
  • Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and maintenance requests to minimize production downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, maintenance activities, and electrical issues.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures, electrical codes, and company maintenance policies.
  • Assist in maintaining the overall condition and functionality of the manufacturing facility.
