ELECTRICAL TRADE ASSISTANT

Qualifications:

• Maximum age: 45 years old.
• Minimum 3 years of overseas work experience in electrical trade assistance or a related position.
• Strong experience assisting electricians with commercial electrical installations and fit-out work.
• Experience with cable pulling, laying, dressing, and termination.
• Experience installing cable trays, conduits, and electrical containment systems.
• Experience installing lighting fixtures and electrical equipment.
• Experience assisting with wiring and electrical connections.
• Experience using electrical hand tools and power tools.
• Experience preparing, handling, and installing electrical materials.
• Experience working on commercial construction, industrial, infrastructure, or maintenance projects.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Ability to follow instructions from electricians, supervisors, and site managers.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, materials, and safe work practices.
• Experience with low-voltage electrical systems is an advantage.
• Experience with switchboards, distribution boards, cable trays, or containment systems is an advantage.
• Experience working at heights is an advantage.
• Relevant electrical trade training or certification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
• Good English communication skills are essential.
• Must be willing and able to complete the IELTS.
• Must meet the required IELTS testing conditions and be willing and able to obtain an IELTS Overall Band Score of 4.0.
• Must have complete and verifiable employment documentation.
• Applicants must be currently residing in the Philippines throughout the application process.

Responsibilities:

• Assist electricians with commercial electrical installation, fit-out, maintenance, and related electrical works.
• Assist with cable pulling, laying, dressing, routing, and termination.
• Install cable trays, conduits, and electrical containment systems under the direction of electricians or supervisors.
• Assist with the installation of lighting fixtures, electrical equipment, and related components.
• Assist electricians with wiring, electrical connections, and installation activities.
• Prepare, handle, move, and install electrical materials and components as required.
• Safely use electrical hand tools and power tools appropriate to assigned tasks.
• Read and understand electrical drawings, plans, layouts, and job specifications.
• Follow instructions from electricians, supervisors, site managers, and other authorized personnel.
• Assist with electrical works on commercial construction, industrial, infrastructure, and maintenance projects.
• Support the installation and maintenance of low-voltage electrical systems when required.
• Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist with other electrical trade-related duties as assigned.
