We are seeking an experienced Electrical Chargehand to oversee electrical installation and maintenance activities on construction sites. The role involves supervising the electrical team, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards, and coordinating with project management teams.

ELECTRICAL CHARGEHAND

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with heavy construction and earthmoving equipment.
• Industrial electrician background preferred.
• H1 Certification – high-voltage, power off.
• B1 Certification – low-voltage, power on.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the electrical team.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
• Inspect electrical work to ensure quality and adherence to regulations.
• Support troubleshooting and problem-solving for electrical systems.
• Liaise with project management, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth operations.
