DIAGNOSTIC TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
  • Must be a Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate holder in a related field.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  • Proven experience in equipment diagnostics, calibration, repair, or technical maintenance.
  • Knowledgeable in using technical equipment, diagnostic tools, and testing instruments.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures and proper handling of tools and equipment.
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures and technical inspections.
  • Knowledge or experience in QC and RT is an advantage.
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical work and documentation.
  • Able to maintain organized work records and reports.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and collect technical data to support equipment inspection, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
  • Calibrate equipment and diagnostic tools to ensure accurate readings and proper operation.
  • Perform diagnostic tests to identify equipment faults, defects, and performance issues.
  • Conduct necessary repairs, adjustments, and maintenance based on diagnostic results.
  • Operate technical and diagnostic equipment safely and correctly.
  • Follow established safety procedures and regulations when handling tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure completed work meets required standards and specifications.
  • Conduct QC (Quality Control) and RT (Radiographic Testing) when required and within assigned responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate work records, inspection reports, repair documentation, and test results.
  • Organize and update technical records and reports for completed work.
  • Identify and report equipment abnormalities, defects, and safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to ensure quality customer service.
  • Perform other technical, diagnostic, maintenance, and customer service duties as assigned.
