DENTAL LAB TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Dental Lab Technician.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of dental laboratory procedures, restorative materials, and fabrication techniques.
  • Experience working with porcelain, acrylic, metal, zirconia, and composite materials.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to produce precise, high-quality dental restorations.
  • Good organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a professional dental laboratory team.

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate dental prostheses, including crowns, bridges, dentures, veneers, and orthodontic appliances based on dentists’ prescriptions.
  • Design, shape, finish, and polish dental restorations using porcelain, acrylic, metal, zirconia, and composite materials.
  • Interpret dental impressions, models, and laboratory work orders to produce accurate restorations.
  • Inspect completed dental prostheses to ensure quality, fit, aesthetics, and functional performance.
  • Maintain dental laboratory equipment and ensure tools are properly cleaned and calibrated.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment while adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Ensure all dental restorations meet quality standards, accuracy, and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
