Qualifications:

• Relevant experience in seafood preparation, pastry/bakery, or continental cuisine.
• Proficient in food preparation and supporting daily kitchen operations.
• Knowledgeable in proper food handling, kitchen sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Capable of preparing ingredients, assisting in cooking, and maintaining food quality and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Hardworking, responsible, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chef de Partie and senior kitchen staff in the preparation and cooking of food.
• Prepare and handle ingredients according to established recipes and kitchen standards.
• Handle seafood preparation, pastry and bakery, or continental cuisine, depending on the assigned section.
• Ensure that all dishes meet restaurant quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the assigned kitchen station, equipment, and utensils.
• Monitor food supplies and assist in proper storage and inventory management.
• Observe food safety procedures and maintain proper personal hygiene at all times.
• Support daily kitchen operations and perform other related duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
