Samsung C&T Corporation is seeking experienced DCS Engineers to join its team for major industrial and power generation projects in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the configuration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant processes.

DCS ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Preferably with no re-entry restriction in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the same position.
• Must have proven experience in Oil and Gas projects.
• Must have experience in Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCPP) or Cogeneration Power Plants.
• Strong knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), process automation, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, control logic diagrams, and engineering documentation.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work in Saudi Arabia and perform site-based commissioning and engineering activities as required.

Responsibilities:

• Configure, test, and commission Distributed Control Systems (DCS) for plant operations.
• Perform system integration, loop checking, functional testing, and start-up activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve DCS hardware, software, and control system issues during commissioning and operation.
• Review control logic diagrams, P&IDs, cause-and-effect charts, and engineering documentation.
• Coordinate with instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, and process engineering teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Ensure all DCS activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, commissioning records, test documentation, and system handover packages.
• Provide technical support during plant start-up, performance testing, and project completion.
