Specialized Industrial Services Co. Ltd. (SISCO) is seeking experienced Instrument Engineers to support oil and gas construction projects in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will be responsible for designing, installing, testing, commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems while ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
INSTRUMENT ENGINEER
Qualifications:
- Age requirement: 25 to 49 years old.
- Open to first-time applicants and ex-abroad workers.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in oil and gas construction projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Proven experience as an Instrument Engineer in construction, industrial, or oil and gas environments.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, process control, PLC/DCS systems, calibration, and commissioning procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and willing to work in demanding project site conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, test, commission, and maintain instrumentation and control systems for oil and gas facilities.
- Review engineering drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, instrument datasheets, and technical specifications.
- Supervise the installation of field instruments, transmitters, control valves, analyzers, and related equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and corrective maintenance of instrumentation and control systems.
- Ensure all instrumentation work complies with project requirements, client specifications, and international standards.
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and construction teams during project execution.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning activities for newly installed systems.
- Prepare technical reports, inspection records, calibration certificates, and project documentation.
- Monitor project progress and recommend improvements to ensure quality and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, and oil and gas industry safety standards.
- Perform other instrumentation engineering duties as assigned by the employer.
