Job Vacancy: Cut & Bend Machine Operator

Steefco is seeking an experienced Cut & Bend Machine Operator to efficiently operate and manage precision cut & bend machinery. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate production of steel rebars according to specifications while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Cut & Bend Machine Operator

Qualifications:

  • Experience in steel manufacturing, forming, and coating industry preferred.
  • Hands-on experience operating Cut & Bend machinery such as Shearline and Barwise.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow production specifications accurately.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling heavy materials safely.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and committed to safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and control Cut & Bend machinery (e.g., Schnell Shearline, Barwise) safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret production drawings, specifications, and work orders.
  • Ensure steel rebars are cut and bent accurately according to project requirements.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and report any faults promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
  • Identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues to minimize downtime.
