CSSD Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant working experience as a CSSD Technician
• Must have a diploma and formal training in CSSD (Central Sterile Supply Department)
• Knowledge of sterilization procedures, infection control, and medical equipment handling
• Detail-oriented with strong commitment to safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work in a hospital environment and follow strict protocol

Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning, decontamination, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments and medical equipment
• Ensure proper handling, packaging, and sterilization of medical supplies in accordance with hospital infection control standards
• Operate sterilization equipment and monitor sterilization cycles for accuracy and effectiveness
• Maintain accurate records of sterilized items and processing logs
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection prevention standards
• Support operating rooms and other departments by ensuring timely availability of sterile instruments
