Control and Instrument Technician
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in control and instrumentation maintenance.
- Must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering or related fields.
- Strong knowledge in Low Current Systems, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Experience in testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Low Current Systems and Control Systems across plants, buildings, ETSs, and PDNs.
- Inspect, check, and maintain existing wiring installations for control and instrumentation equipment.
- Troubleshoot control panels, power sources, and ensure proper wiring connections and system functionality.
- Conduct testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair of instruments and equipment to meet established standards.
- Perform tuning and adjustments of control systems and related equipment.
- Install, repair, and maintain control and instrumentation systems in accordance with company standards.
- Assist Control Engineers in design modifications and preparation of technical drawings when required.
- Stay updated with new technologies, upgrades, and replacements of instruments and systems to maintain service efficiency.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety and operational procedures.
