CLEANER

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Cleaner, Housekeeper, Janitor, or in a similar housekeeping role is an advantage.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, sanitation practices, and the safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
• Honest, dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Willing to work flexible schedules when required.
• Willing to work in Qatar under the employer’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, libraries, laboratories, restrooms, hallways, stairways, and other school facilities.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors, furniture, windows, and fixtures.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly in accordance with school sanitation procedures.
• Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, mirrors, and other restroom facilities, ensuring adequate supplies of soap, tissue, and paper towels.
• Replenish cleaning materials and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Perform routine cleaning of school furniture, equipment, and common areas.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning classrooms, meeting rooms, and event venues for school activities.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely while following occupational health and safety guidelines.
• Maintain proper storage and care of cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Support school-wide cleanliness initiatives and perform additional housekeeping duties as assigned.
