Kyowa Technologies Co., Ltd. is seeking qualified and experienced Civil Engineers to join its technical team in Japan. The successful candidates will be responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and coordinating civil engineering and construction projects while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, quality requirements, and project schedules.
Civil Engineer
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years of working experience in the field.
- Must hold a valid Professional License in Civil Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline, as required by the position.
- Experienced in civil engineering design, construction, project coordination, or technical engineering works.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, technical drawings, and applicable codes and standards.
- Detail-oriented, professional, and able to work effectively in a highly technical environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review civil engineering designs, plans, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Supervise construction activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved plans, engineering standards, and project timelines.
- Coordinate with architects, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support to resolve construction and engineering issues.
- Prepare project reports, cost estimates, material specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Evaluate construction methods and recommend practical engineering solutions to improve project efficiency.
- Adhere to company policies, workplace safety regulations, and applicable engineering codes and standards.
