Job Vacancy: Structural Engineer

Kyowa Technologies Co., Ltd. is seeking qualified and experienced Structural Engineers to join its technical team in Japan. The successful candidates will be responsible for the analysis, design, and evaluation of structural systems for construction projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Structural Engineer
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years of working experience in the field.
- Must hold a valid Professional License in Engineering (Structural/Civil Engineering) or Architecture, as applicable to the position.
- Experienced in structural design, construction, project coordination, or technical engineering works.
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis, engineering principles, technical drawings, and relevant building codes and standards.
- Detail-oriented, professional, and able to work effectively in a highly technical environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Design, analyze, and review structural systems and components for buildings and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare structural calculations, technical drawings, specifications, and engineering reports.
- Coordinate with architects, mechanical and electrical engineers, contractors, and project teams throughout project execution.
- Conduct site inspections to verify structural integrity and ensure compliance with approved plans and engineering standards.
- Review construction methods, materials, and structural designs to ensure safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve structural engineering issues during design and construction phases.
- Monitor project progress to ensure work is completed according to schedules, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Adhere to company policies, workplace safety regulations, and applicable engineering codes and standards.
