We are seeking an experienced and qualified Chemical Technician to support the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of chemical systems and processes in an industrial facility. The successful candidate will perform chemical testing, monitor process parameters, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

CHEMICAL TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Must hold a Technical Diploma in Chemical Technology, Chemical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as a Chemical Technician or in industrial chemical operations and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of chemical handling, testing procedures, laboratory practices, and process monitoring.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of chemical systems and equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards, chemical handling procedures, and environmental regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, equipment manuals, and operating procedures.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Physically fit and capable of working in an industrial environment while following strict safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine chemical testing, sampling, and analysis in accordance with operational and quality standards.
• Monitor chemical processes, treatment systems, and equipment to ensure efficient plant operations.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on chemical equipment and related systems as assigned.
• Prepare, mix, and handle chemicals following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Inspect chemical storage areas, pipelines, tanks, and dosing systems to ensure proper operation.
• Record test results, maintenance activities, and operational data accurately.
• Assist in troubleshooting chemical process issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, operating procedures, and chemical specifications.
• Perform other technical and maintenance duties assigned by the supervisor.
