AIS Global Group is seeking qualified Chemical Engineers to support engineering and industrial operations in Australia. The successful candidates will apply chemical engineering principles to optimize processes, improve production efficiency, ensure safety compliance, and support technical operations across industries such as manufacturing, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, food processing, mining, petrochemicals, and water treatment.

Chemical Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in industries such as:
  • Manufacturing
  • Chemical processing
  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Food processing
  • Mining
  • Petrochemicals
  • Water treatment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, PFDs, P&IDs, and engineering documentation.
• Knowledge of process control systems such as PLC, SCADA, and DCS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an industrial environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, analyze, and optimize chemical and industrial processes to improve efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Monitor and evaluate production processes, equipment performance, and operational systems.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, process reports, and engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and engineering documents.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and improvement of process systems and plant operations.
• Apply knowledge of process control systems, including PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems.
• Identify process issues and recommend effective solutions for improved performance.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production teams to support project requirements.
• Perform other chemical engineering duties as assigned by the employer.
