Al Sawaid Co. is seeking a Certified IATA Driver to handle the safe transport of hazardous and regulated goods by air. The successful candidate will prepare shipment documentation, ensure compliance with IATA and GACA standards, and coordinate with airlines and freight forwarders to maintain smooth logistics operations.

Certified IATA Driver

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years working experience in hazardous goods transport, logistics, or related roles
• Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in logistics, transportation, or similar fields
• Male applicants are preferred
• Valid IATA CBTA 7.1 and 7.4 certifications
• Knowledgeable in safety procedures and regulations for hazardous materials
• Proficient in electronic systems for documentation, shipment tracking, and record-keeping
• Valid driver’s license for vehicles approved to transport hazardous goods

Responsibilities:

• Prepare Dangerous Goods Declarations (DGD) in accordance with IATA CBTA 7.1
• Review and classify hazardous materials to ensure compliance with IATA/GACA standards
• Package parcels according to IATA packing instructions to ensure safe air transport
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, airlines, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment handling
• Maintain and archive shipment records and documents according to regulatory requirements
• Participate in internal and external audits to verify compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Operate transport vehicles safely in accordance with hazardous goods handling procedures
